Why do we use the CLT model?

The goal is for our students to be able to communicate with Tunisians in real situations in daily life. The main goal is not to pass a test, have perfect grammar, or be able to read a Nageeb Mahfouz novel.

How is studying Tunisian dialect different than studying history?

According to thought behind Communicative Language Teaching, language is mainly a skill that must be developed, not simply information that can be learned. Language has to be nurtured and used versus sitting and memorizing a list of information.
